My dear friends, it seems like a million years since the last time I wrote. Apologies for my disappearance but what a journey it was…from my mother’s illness and going back home to care for her, to the acquisition of the company I worked for, to traveling in Europe for almost a month, coming back and saying goodbye to my co-workers after almost 7 years, and now studying Spanish in Colombia!

Now, here I am, on one of the most critical intersections of my life, trying to figure out which path to take.

My career path is a colorful mix of many odd and not so odd occupations. I have been behind and in front of the camera, rang a cash register, been a barista, marketed B2B and B2C, and because of that traveled to many places in the world. So ?! Where am I going from here? This is the question that has kept me occupied for the past few months. All I know is that I need to make a change for better. It’s a strange feeling, like being a baby again, taking my first step or being lost, walking in a dark and unknown place, looking for a ray of light, touching the surroundings.

At the moment, there are so many questions and only some sparks. The light, hopefully will come when I’m ready. But for now, I’m here in Cartagena, Colombia studying Spanish and learning about their culture. Wish me luck!
